“…To flood God’s church in Sydney, Australia, and beyond with lay and vocational Christian leaders who are Biblically and theologically mature, servant hearted, and innovative ministry strategists.”
This vision is exciting, because it isn’t about the EU or Sydney Uni, but it’s about God’s church throughout the world (which of course, includes Sydney and the EU). As the EU Graduates Fund, we seek to serve and bless the local church by training up students in the EU, that they may be capable and eager servants in their own churches.
One example of this is Tristan (pictured far right). Tristan is a third year science student, majoring in Chemistry and Physics. He attends a small church in the mountains and in recent years, he has noticed a gradual decline in church attendance.
Earlier this year, Tristan decided to be an Assistant Small Group Leader (ASGL) in the EU Science First Years faculty. He wanted to be better trained and equipped, to serve his local church. In particular, he hoped to start a bible study group with his church community at the start of this year. Unfortunately, due to factors outside of his control, this idea was still in the planning. Nevertheless, the training remained fruitful in ensuring that whenever the group started meeting, Tristan was prepared to lead it faithfully.
This is exactly the type of work that the EU Graduate’s Fund is on for. We work hard at training our students so that through the EU, they may graduate from university ready and willing to serve God’s church in whatever way they can, especially in their local churches.

Please pray for us as we work to train students for a lifetime of service in God’s church. Please pray that God may give us wisdom and be working powerfully through the EU Graduates Fund, so that the echoes of what we do here on campus, may be felt into eternity.
