Meet Celia

by EU Graduates Fund

The EU and EU Gradsfund warmly welcomes the newest member of our Senior Staff team.

Celia Toose is the newest addition to the EU Grads Fund team, joining the Senior Staff at the beginning of Semester 2. Celia’s portfolio will focus on helping the EU to incorporate ‘less-resourced, less-reached’ thinking into its ministries.

For the past 8 years Celia worked for the Church Missionary Society NSW by making bible college students aware of ministry needs in other parts of the world and challenging them to consider missionary service. Celia says that those years have given her ‘a growing awareness that God’s worldwide church is both unequally reached and unequally resourced.’

Celia and her husband James are excited about the possibility of EU students becoming future bible study leaders in rural country towns, forsaking the opportunities of the city out of love for Jesus to work there and become part of the local church; of becoming evangelists and disciple-makers in countries where Islam, Buddhism and secularism reign; of becoming the next generation of bible teachers in African theological colleges; or serving university students on campuses in PNG, Argentina, or Italy.

Please pray for Celia as she takes up this new role. Ask God through her ministry to send out many students to less-resourced and less-reached places for his kingdom and glory.
