How were you involved in the EU during your time at uni?
During my time in the EU I served in Faculty Committee, was an Assistant and Senior Small Group Leader, and was involved in leading on the Next Steps team.
What does work look like for you now?
These days I am working as a primary school teacher in a public school in Sydney’s west.

How did God use your time at the EU to prepare you for ministry and life after graduating?
During my time at the EU I was well-equipped for writing and leading bible studies after uni. This has helped me to be able to lead and minister to all different kinds of people in my church. I was also equipped to do outreach evangelism and even know how to run events for that, then implement these in a church setting. Going on an EU Summer Mission was particularly helpful in learning how to run evangelistic initiatives.
Starting one to one ministry as a uni student has helped me to be equipped for a life of discipling and ministering to others.
I’m also thankful that my time in the EU prepared me for a life of discipleship through receiving one to one training. Starting one to one ministry as a uni student has helped me to be equipped for a life of discipling and ministering to others. I was also blessed by the Working in God’s World course, which really helped me to transition from uni to work. It prepared me for having realistic expectations of work and developing skills like budgeting that are useful outside of uni.
How is God working in you at the moment?
At the moment I am prayerfully considering doing a Christian apprenticeship, so I am seeing God work in me there. He is also growing my heart for people, and particularly for the lost in Western Sydney.
