Going out to meet the nations

by EU GradsFund

By 2030 we want our students to be those who make bold decisions.

We want them to be enthusiastic evangelists who are willing to consider serving God’s kingdom, especially amongst the less reached or the less resourced.

To accomplish this, each year approximately 150 students from the EU go on a 5-day mission to different parts of NSW, multicultural Sydney, and Canberra to be challenged, encouraged, and exposed to the nature and needs of the Church.

The aim is for students to experience places that are less resourced with people or spiritual resources in their heart language to help Christians grow.

This year the EU will go to Albury, Blaney/ Milthorpe, Campsie, Bateau Bay, Berala, Berkeley, Bossley Park/ Fairfield, Greenacre, Lakemba, Lanyon Valley, & Liverpool.

Read some comments from students who attended last years mission!

“It was important to see how under resourced some church communities are” – Kylie

“Being able to see people living in this area and the unique joys and challenges they experience is super valuable and it has made me even more eager to potentially move into an LRLR location” – Dan

“It helped me see how mission is long-term and can be slow and appear to have small impacts.” – Steph

Do pray for the EU as we seek to impact the areas mentioned above and have hearts that are full for gospel proclamation.
